“Residing on opposite sides of the world, this collaboration can only be explained as one expensive plane ticket!

Coming from two different musical backgrounds, culture and well… the obvious that has already been stated, this was bound to be an interesting piece of music.

How does it sound?

From the first instance the vibe is very reminiscent of Calvin Harris’ new single featuring Sam Smith ‘Promises’  due to the leading soulful vocal being accompanied by a 90’s house piano in the background. As the song continues, it continues to lead with the vocal with a plethora of white noise effects. The overall structure of the song is within the classic strophic form of a pop track, but has elements of an uncut extended mix that would be heard any House DJ’s mix in Ibiza.

The overall mix of the track is good. The percussion can be slightly lost in the mix as it progresses, but nothing can be taken away from the fantastic vocals that Jordan Stew (JStew) provides on this track.

The two remixes of this track by the talented Mr E are contrasting, but are level in quality with the original, and may be preferred by some due to the current influx of Minimal House/Techno lovers (ah we do love millennials and their trends…)”
